BLP of a city mayor in India. Though the city is large I don’t believe governing it makes a person notable. US equivalents would be Fresno or Tucson. I don’t see any in-depth coverage in English. Mccapra (talk) 09:25, 24 August 2024 (UTC)

- Delete. Fails WP:GNG and WP:NBIO. A local city politician who has not received significant press coverage. The politician has not made a significant impact or achievement to be worthy of notice. Sources are poor on the page. Source 1 is 404 error, source 2, 3 and 4 are passing mention. Source 5 is unreliable YouTube source. RangersRus (talk) 13:29, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
- Delete. As always, mayors (regardless of the city's size) are not "inherently" notable just for existing as mayors — they can have articles that contain meaningfully substantive and reliably sourced content about the person's political impact (specific things they did, specific projects they spearheaded, specific effects their leadership had on the development of the city, etc.), but are not automatically entitled to keep articles that functionally amount to "he is a mayor who exists, the end". But that's all this is, and the contextless list of unfootnoted "referencing" does not provide enough to suggest that the article can be expanded very much, and basically just verifies that he exists without providing substantive coverage or analysis about his work.
