She always speaks in Tamil in all interviews and shows even if it is Telugu channel shows which is her mother tongue. That's her respect to Tamil language
Y she needs to speak in Tamil in Telugu channel she speaks in Telugu only.
Ho she speaks even Tamizh with a predominantly Telugu accent you don't want to observe.
It's because Malayalam & Tamil are somewhat similar (words)..it's easy to understand since she can't speak Malayalam
I can not understand the obsession of some of our tamil brothers.. It's okay to own artists of any region but to disrespect other languages is very bad.

Dear Mr Johny, Please dont mistake my opinion about your interview..You are a renowned interviewer alright trying to bring out the best from anyone in front of you, but here I wish you could go a little slower with your questions to Sushelamma as she struggles a bit to catch your
pace and even what you really meant and for the same reason answers were a bit blunt..You were your usual you as if a born Keralite is in front of you and shooting questions at a blessed legend. Otherwise it was a fine chance to see her speaking to us so graciously even at this age. Thank you for that......
Actually, Johnny Sir is also in excitement and tension... But these interaction might have been practiced....!
This is the first time I'm seeing the interviewer as a "fanboy" and less on interviewing. I'm sure he would have cried a few times during the interview. Such is the effect of the legendary singer.

The interviewer seems busy with his own pre conceived notions and he hurriedly transfers to the Legend. But with out any hedutation she answers every question abruptly. She wanted to say more but interviewers shfts to other questions.

One Malayali lady taught Janakiyamma the language. That lady was working in a telephone exchange in Bombay. Whenever she has night shift duty she used to call Janakiyamma and speak to her in Malayalam for long time. That is how she became fluent in Malayalam...
S. Janaki is the greatest singer of all time in Malayalam. Beautiful sound, expressiveness, singing excellence, and accent. She's great. P Susheela is also a great singer but her pronunciation is a bit lacking.
