This anime is confusing as hell and it makes no sense. For every question answered at least three more are raised. It’s going to be a difficult task but I will try to keep my review spoiler free. Forget about all the so called facts you read in the synopsis. Just about every “truth” is impugn. My biggest issue with this anime is that it fails to establish definite laws of physics and logic and not in the good Dragonball Z way but the maybe I have to be high or crazy to have some semblance of what’s happening.
The characters are overly complicated. Every time you learn more of their past it leaves more questions than answers. The producers fail to make the characters sympathetic. There is no logic in this world it is utter chaos, there is no telling what is possible or what was even real. It started off very decent and I wanted ever so to love this anime. However, with each episode it gets more confusing to the point that it stops being entertaining and your left to wonder why in the world would anyone ever write this, let alone watch it. It felt as if a bunch of writers wrote a bunch of stories and decided to merge all of them regardless if it made sense or not. Throughout the whole anime you can see that the producers are trying to convey a message but they failed. This anime is certainly unique, but I feel that most people are confused just because something is unique does not make it any good.
