Fair they don't keep blueballing with Cha and Jinwoo's meeting. About time. But he's lucky she did otherwise he would have faced serious legal and financial reproductions. |

I like how most comments here like that this episode was slowed down and information was given unlike other idiotic audiences who just need action only and would complain no matter what. I mean if ppl are here only for the action then they have to wait even in further episodes as part of SL was not only action but the story as well. I Hope the animator just goes with the flow and doesn't ruin the anime just a few ppl who only need action in every damn episode. It's Worth the wait to watch fight scenes and they are promising but if they rush more due to the audience the anime might lose the story it sets with it's pace |

I thought Igris was S rank since Jinwoo beat up the upper A rank guy but the tower bosses were A rank even well above Lv60 and this dungeon boss above them is still A rank? That's an awfully huge gap between upper A rank and S rank. |

It was a great episode. I does feel a little bit rushed, thought I did read the Manhwa so I may be a little biased there. I am enjoying this series a lot. I love the cliffhanger her sure got caught trying to do something he knows he shouldn't. |

Yeah, it was ABOUT time. I mean dude has been bullied as a forever E-rank most of his life, but then yeah boom, stuff happened and he’s at the very top now lol. I mean look, even the machine which can measure up your level of magic is saying, our metrics cannot evaluate you lmaoooo. Jin-woo’s aura really took a MAJOR GAIN this episode. I remember reading this stuff back then and thinking why did he delay his test for so long, but yeah, that’s what main characters do, right? And this being a power fantasy through and through, you know he’d become S-rank just at the right time.
Also hey, dude is so cool, that literally Go Gun-hee came to meet him personally, and yeah, he kind of made his intentions clear even to the chairman lol… so yeah, he finally has become the kind of main character who people would worship and put posters/profile pictures of, because he soo cool now xD Anyway, this was the part of the story where Cha Hae-in finally made a proper appearance but yeah, since anime has taken the liberties and has already given her too many appearances, the first meeting of Jin woo and her may not hit the same but yeah, looking forward to the next two episodes.

@Softhenic03 Softhenic03 said: thinking why did he delay his test for so long He delayed his test for two reasons : 1. He wanted to be tested at the time he was sure to be S-rank. At the time of the Red Gate, he's about A-rank, due to the fact that both Hwang and Baek are stronger than him (but not by that much). After the Demon castle arc, he's sure to be S-rank. Also, he can't continuously get reevaluated at a higher rank. It's already odd to have a second awakening, but him leveling up is unique in the setting of the series. 2. He didn't want to draw attention until he was strong enough to warrant that attention. Him getting re-evaluated, even at A-rank or B-rank would be enough for the guilds to take interest in him and try to recruit him, but that is not his end goal. Also him being an E-rank lets him do pretty much whatever he wants and be underestimated by his opponents. As to why he gets reevalutated right now, it's all about getting access to higher rank raids. Nobody wants an E-rank in the fighting team of an A rank gate, and he needs to fight stronger monsters if he wants to level up enough to beat the Demon castle (he stopped at floor 50 out of a 100) |

Hello, this ep is chapter 65-67 in Manhwa this season will probably cover up to chapter 89. just before the biggest arc of the whole show, which allows for the start of the next cour to be about
Jeju Island Arc.
Jeju Island Arc.
@Jagerschnapps Thank you SO MUCH for explaining things to me :) So, we probably should expect the anime to have at least 4 seasons with these calculations. I miss this anime too much when it's not showing, so personally I was trying to know for how long will my own suffering go XD |

It will most likely end at chapter 110. We are entering chapter 68.

@logic340 I have read the manhwa as well, but I can't really remember this episode's content in the manhwa, and to me it didn't feel rushed at all. But I can imagine it does when you remember the manhwa content well^^ (my bad memory is finally good for something) |

After 110, a lot changed as it is considered part 1 of the manhwa. |

This is definitely a turning point, plot-wise. If nothing else, he now will need to deal with politics and high-level power games from now on.
He'll also be under intense scrutiny, far more than he was before, which should make hiding his abilities harder. I predict he'll join his new little bro's guild if only so that he can keep using his abilities in dungeons without other people knowing.
In that regard, though, it's weird that he was able to get onto the Hunter Guild mining team without the guildmaster noticing. One would think that his name joining the team would set off alerts, given how much the guildmaster wants to recruit him. Certainly the Hunter Association got an alert.

@amf85 Literally everyone knows he's S-rank. Even the jerks at the front desk. Literally every guild already knows. What's stopping him from going to one of them and saying, "Let's see what you have to offer, I want to go on a test raid, we'll split the reward. Something easy to start with, to warm up." He can go to any of the five and try it on. He's an asset in his own right. By the way, his buddy has some capital. His father gave him the go-ahead, so to speak, and he's the head of an industrial group that decided to get into gate mining. That was there too. So they're going to get him at least a B or A rank gate. At least C-rank they will definitely get him, and he can farm hundreds of them alone. You'd think an E-rank miner would get paid a lot. And bailed on work and shut down the boss, judging by the agony, he clearly did not plan on it. Strange moves of mc-kun is in the order of things. He began to equip only at the end of the first season. In the 11th episode, and he explicitly stated that he did not even try to equip anything. The plan to work as a miner is very much in mc-kun's spirit. I don't understand why, and what his problem is with waiting a few days. |

The author managed to drag the hardships of Korean life into the fantasy. Even in the field of killing monsters, Chaebols managed to arise. Stratification and other niceties come with it. Why did he join the miners in the first place? He had a friend who wanted to start a guild. It would have been his own guild.
It's kind of a weird narrative jump. One minute he's an op silverstein, "It's time to come out of the shadows," the next minute he's an average miner.

@Vindicater That's what he said in the episode. Plot as I understand it is that he's impatient to get the last items for the potion. Rather than get stronger slowly so that he can beat the key dungeon, he wants to buy epic gear for a big power boost, but can't afford it. So he has to sell the 200% magic damage orb and doesn't want people wondering where he got it. Personally, I think this ignores a few things. 1) We've seen him get some really strong stuff as drops inside his dungeons. Likely stronger than anything he can buy. 2) I feel like that orb is powerful enough that it will raise suspicions even if he has an A-rank dungeon as cover. 3) Even if his plan worked (doesn't seem like it will now that he got discovered) one would think that the guild he was pretending to work for would get pretty bent out of shape that someone there on a mining contract snatched an epic loot to sell. |

@Vindicater He has been driven mad in the dungeon. He didn't mind before. A rank-A dungeon needed for him to... to train? But then he'll ruin the guild, like he said. So he could sell the artifact legally? So he wasn't mining, he was stealing on the job. He could've sold it to at least a few guilds. People who knew he was inside the Red Gate. He'd just tell them that he found it there. Besides sneaking in as a miner, there's a lot of ways to level up without messing up guild relations. You could even offer them a trial day. Or, on the contrary, offer to observe his strength. He should have a rank-A dungeon for that. He's very valuable. The author wasn't very good at logic and rationality to begin with. |

The association doesn't mainly deal with gates, they deal with hunters. They only go into gates when absolutely necessary. Also there are regulations how strong a strike team has to be to enter a gate. And strong hunters join big guilds instead. Jinwoo needs to enter at least A rank gates to level up, but the association don't have access to those and they don't have a strike team to clear those. That's why Jinwoo said "I want to fight." The associations doesn't really do much fighting. Jinwoo's officially still an E-rank. He still has 3 days till the reevaluation and has a lot of work to do till then. That's why he stormed out of the place. |

So all S-ranked are actually just immeasurable by the machine? The very few S-ranks everywhere must have a way to gauge or sense other S-rank power levels of sort or something like the way Jinwoo sees/visualizes the HA Chairman and Cha Hae-in auras, heck even Cha Hae-in sensed something like that assuming it was Chairman Go when she got out of the dungeon. |

@Yaggamy I understand that and it still doesn't explain why he treated Choi Jong-In like he was an insect. |

as one thet read the manhwa i can say: this season is being too much quick, cutting some parts that was really fun to read and see. I am enjoying the season for now, but without these scenes the anime became a little more boring than the manhwa and last but not least just me or someone else saw this ep animation being less good?
@murilo6969 This obviously wasn't a high priority episode, and that makes sense since we had 3 consecutive episodes of action, so the full-dialogue one is going to suffer, although i have like if they were more cohesive instead of going from average looking episode to some of the best animated episodes of the season and even the year. |

"I need to stop faking"...............pretends to still be E rank and takes on mining job. Easily out performs just about everyone. Sneaks off to try to conquer A rank dungeon boss. Yeah okay whatever.
@westybsa That is one of my gripes with the story, SJW sometimes act in very dumb fashion just for the sake of the plot. |

He certainly is hot stuff and everyone is all over him now. Though, I must say it is a little sad how quickly he makes progress. Not even halfway through S2 and he is on the same level as the strongest hunter humanity knows. Also 80+? wth I certainly like the setup for next episode. The two of them might just like click since they are both more of the broody type. I guess they will briefly clash and then trigger the boss room to open forcing them to cooperate and everybody having to acknowledge his rank. |

Red guy needs to yell "Explosion!" it doubles his magic, it is known. Blonde girl showed up, sneaked up on MC kun even. I dont follow the issue here, cant he just say he got the item from the red gate? Once he officially counts as S rank, nobody will care what kind of raids he did anyway. Shithead is still around.. I guess its a setup for MC kun to trash him just like his dad did? |
