For some reasons my saves from EP8 don't work. When I try to load, it just goes back to the game.
EP9 skunked version, unrenpyed, with zz_kill and with/without kinney_x23 mod.
EP8 was skunked version, unrenpyed, with kinney_x23 mod.
Win7.
Any ideas?

Well, for me it would be counterproductive, and saddening really, if any of the family members are against the MC. The reason being this is supposedly supposed to be an incest harem style game. If there is an inter-familial betrayal then this is shattered and I hope Labs doesn't do that.

Also, there is plenty of clues that all members, except for mom for now based on the nightmare scenes of said members, are being manipulated by Nora, akin to what MC is doing to his family. But at least he just wants some happy time! haha. I personally think the dev is trying too hard to hide and confuse the player. There are some clues, just as the images posted by @Zero919, in the nightmares. Tracy and her evil twin who I don't mind bangin, Alice being surrounded by those things, and Jenna in a box. I doubt Jenna has anything to do with the Order, and Tracy doesn't even realize who she has asked for help. Nora is supposedly Jenna's friend but I doubt that even the aunt knows the true extent.

All of this leads me to believe that SIN is trying too had to lay red herrings everywhere. As for the ring on the doc, this is most likely the Black estate insignia.

Extract ep9 in its own folder and play it that way. Had the same issue. Dunno why SIN decided to do what DMD did. Prolly coz of Patreon's demands clashing with the existing release? Or it's simpler to start fresh, with an incest-free version and just patching it.

Truly a masterpiece. We have some really good games around here, but this one is just out of reach.

While playing one idea came to my mind: when the MC was in the dream and met Arcturus, you saw two women, one at each side. For me they really had a similar look to Nora. Well, and then I remembered that Nora has two different coloured eyes. So maybe those two women who the prophet is going to fight are now one Nora Black.

And as I speculated in the other theory thread some days ago the doctor is fishy. Could be Arcturus himself yes, but what if the doctor is the prophet? Because right now the MC thinks Nora is no harm, but the doctor is. Why not bring in a twist?

Sin has been quite honest about the stakes and consequences in the game, this choices have to matter in the end.
Fallout with Marcus either for fucking her mother or for the father catching them up?
Marcus getting so much info that he gets jealous and tries to sell you to the Order?
What about Jenna's husband? And what role has Abby at the end of all this?
Saving your father? Is he really the source of your powers?
What would be the cost of having all of them under the spell? More so when now YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE that can use it...
All this choices must have a price... for us to win something, we also have to lose something.

Sin can make this brilliant if he gaves us a lot of endings... so you can choose who you want to be happy with.

Well, I hope that you can at least save your family members, because after all this is one of your main goals and if that wouldn't be achievable, it's straight NTR (or at least a different kind of it, without sex involved). Even by saying you have to deal with choices and consequences only having different sacrifice endings is not rewarding. It brings up negative emotions not being capable of having the chance to get a good ending.

I have the same problem even though I played normally and I didnt cheat

Alice & extra dp with Jenna was hot!
Mom scene was so-so...I've expected much more...Not even close as good as 1st time with Jenna
I don't get it why with such level of relations we still walking the dream of Jenna, not taking a real thing...
Why there is so little kissing/groping/activities and so on with our family members...
Second update with almost no intimacy with Tracy and the way he make extra now...This is kinda disappointing

if tracy hadnt been neglected sexually for such a long time this would have been the perfect episode.the MC is really dump of course should have realised nora was faking it from the eyes(cold tongue damn that is evil) and how the fuck didnt he connect the black family names?sacrifice in recurring ester so im very curious for what will happen.arcturus black had some sexy and deadly sluts back in the day so it further boosts my theory that aby is one of them.no denying cause she fucks ans says you are special even if you fail the date.the mom sex scene was a blast!!!!!!!fucking amazing!

Yes, I expect that when Jenna offered to take a hot bath, she secretly joins us it would be damn hot
the lack of this was a little disappointing
but was Alice so that you can continue to enjoy

Personally, regarding Tracy, the MC should confront her ASAP. He should have he spill the beans. I sense that them teaming up would actually be a good thing. I am certain her goal is the same as MCs or similar. Ep 10 better have a legit Tracy sex scene, and not just a hinted anal in the changeroom. A vanilla sex scene at a minimum. Then, I would suggest at this point for a full familial confrontation and confession, both in terms of their relationships with each other and regarding the order. If shit IS hitting the fan as SIN is trying to portay here, this should happene ASAP.

By the way: I found some more missing pictures at the end of Aunt's Dream Scene if you have selected the "Anal-Option" (Windows, not Mac). Anyone else has the same problem ? Maybe there's something wrong with the Skunked Version ?

It looks a bit like the sign on the ring could be the same as the picture in the library. When he sees the pic at the library the MC is speaking about who that could be and that he looks like a king. That's what gave me the idea the 'doctor' could be the prophet.

P.S.: The doctor totally reminds me of Graham in DmD. :biggrin::biggrin:

Does this game have any public releases?
I wanted to try it and downloaded from the torrent file, but it has the incest stuff pre-patched.

MC made me facepalm hard in this episode, i know that he is dumb but he hit a new threshold in this episode. x'Dx'Dx'D

The sign on the ring is completely different. Moreover, the black Apparition informed the MC that the Prophet died a long time ago.

If you take all the major decisions (not including the marcus ones that don´t have an effect in the released episodes...or the alternate outfit ones), you would have to keep 64 save files to experience all the possible variations...

So instead of playing all of them, I decided to play with the console (shift+o) a little bit
I also thought you would like to try it aswell, so here are the variables for the major decisions:

EP 2:
mom_understanding=True -> take the understanding/not pushy route with your mom
latisha_spell=True -> you used the spell on Latisha in the library
tracey_confronted=True -> you went all out on Tracey and threatened her

EP 3:
alice_love=True -> you told Alice to find true love at the party

EP 4:
marcus_told=True -> you told Marcus about the Apparition

EP 7:
mom_lied=True -> you lied to your mom about the sexual thoughts towards your sisters

Well, I think it is self explaning that you have to set these variables to "False" (case sensitive) if you would like to take the opposit outcome

Boy, what an update that was! We've reached the end of happy times as DrSin mentioned in a few patreon posts back that episode 9 will be the last "happy" episode of the series.

The wait for the next episode is gonna be painful since no episode 10 until next year. Looking forward to the fanservice December update though!

So in summary we've got ourselves a main villain (finally :biggrin in the form of one Nora Black, likely descendant of the Order's head honcho; aka Fabio Lanzoni lookalike.

Everyone has been setup to be a suspect with so much red herrings that bears are now probably camping this game's next update. I imagine that's going to be a theme for the coming episodes; the MC is going to be increasingly paranoid and the nightmares will get even worse. And lastly, mother! It's been a long time coming and Lewdlab delivered with finesse.

There's so much theory crafting going around and I can't wait to read them all then come up with some myself. :closedeyesmile:

Some extra thoughts, not really theories:
I'm pretty certain a pee fetish was supposed to be in this game initially. I swear there have been a few occasions where it seems as though it was supposed to happen, but doesn't. I could just be overly suspicious though. :coldsweat:
While I understand the MC is supposed to be a stereotypical brash adult VN protagonist whose brain is operated by his dick, the whole scene with Nora baiting him was a little too stupid even for him. He's already on edge at that point, plus he's fully aware of abnormal eyes being an indicator of anything related to the spell yet he seemed to have brushed it off entirely with Nora. Wat? :disappointed:
My initial suspicions on Alice are exactly 50/50 now. On one hand she's prime red herring material with many ways to pin her as a suspect working for the Order. On the other she's a pure cinnamon bun with a smile worthy of protecting and love.

And the last thing I can think of - Nora was surprisingly very cute when she was on the floor. I almost fell for it at that moment.

Has anybody else a slight problem with the mom on terrace sex scene?

When I select to cum inside her suddenly the 'understanding' variant of the complete scene gets triggered. Selecting 'cum on face' works however.
