Description |
Sabar Lal Melma was a former Guantanamo captive who was killed by US forces in Afghanistan. After his release Melma said American forces kept seizing him. Member of the Afghanistan High Peace Council thought they had secured the agreement of senior US officials that the seizures would end. Nevertheless they continued, and Melma was killed during the final seizure visit. |
