Fails WP:NSKATE. I'm not sure she qualifies as notable. Not to be confused with her younger sister, Mao Asada, who was an exceptionally successful skater. Bgsu98 (Talk) 11:36, 1 May 2024 (UTC)

- Keep no indication of a WP:BEFORE search that includes Japanese sources. However, even that is not necessary. A quick look at the Japanese article indicates numerous sources that mean she passes the GNG (largely for her work as a TV personality/actor/model after her skating career). - Strong keep -- The subject easily passes GNG and once again it's clear that the nominator failed to perform a WP:BEFORE search. JTtheOG (talk) 06:11, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
