That last half hour, so softly spoken, brought me again to my knees in tears. Oh what love. That He would suffer and die for a wretch like me - Truly JD, the Holy Spirit spoke softly through you and my home held its breath in silence - God bless you all in Jesus' glorious name. I love when people in the Bible get angry with God and tell him so. It's far more honest and truthful than the "baby Jesus meek and mîld" crew that away you must pray a certain way. I have a relationship with my Lord that I am free to be open and honest with what I say to Him love it 💓

It's just like being a young child again and hearing my mum say, "Because I said so." In other words, "I'm the adult, and I know best so trust me." Well God's God, and he knows best and we have to relax and trust Him. ❤❤❤

Looking for that Blessed Hope! 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” Jesus did it all for us on Calvary, all we have to do is believe. Matthew 11:28 “Come unto me, all ye that LABOUR and are HEAVY LADEN, and I will give you REST. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find REST unto your souls. For my yoke is EASY, and my burden is LIGHT.” He made salvation easy. You can’t rest if you’re working for your salvation.
Psalms 34:8 “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

Today's communion is particularly moving to me. Thank you Jesus for what He's suffered and accomplished for me and us in Him. 🙏 Excellent exposition of Habakkuk 1, Pastor JD! You pointed out things I didn't see in multiple reads I had done and so poignant and true. Praise the Lord for you! 🙌

Great lesson, Pastor JD. We have all been where Habakkuk was in his frustration. I liked the analogy of praising the wrong thing in your surgeon vs instruments.

I just heard that my ex husband’s mother was in an accident and is paralyzed. Her only son is headed to the beach instead of staying to care for her. My heart breaks for this woman. Please remember her in prayer. Her name is Robin.

It would be extra special if Pastor JD included the Names of the 3rd and 4th cups of wine drank during the Passover Seder meal, aka The Last Supper. The one that Jesus established His new covenant with is named Birkat Hamazon or REDEMPTION! Our Redeemer wants us to remember that He is our Redeemer with the cup named REDEMPTION.
4th cup is named HALLEL aka PRAISE and ACCEPTANCE. For all who will be joining Jesus Christ in our Wedding Feast, you know that we will be PRAISING HIM and HIS ACCEPTANCE of us to Him at the rapture. Hallelujah!

_That's the only time faith is required right, when we don't know what He's doing? And because faith is believing Him for what you want AND believing Him for what He gives because faith is _*_settled_*_ & not contingent on a specific outcome, then it doesn't matter what He's doing in my life, only that He IS indeed doing it...and for my good. I need prayer. Satan is really needling me because I took the vaccine. I'm crying out to God because I am seriously regretting that decision. I pray my soul will be spared. Trying to hold on to Christ and get through this turbulent time in my life.

Only those who are God's loyal servants have an understanding of what he is doing, what his purpose is, as Amos 3 says: "Will two walk together unless they have agreed to meet ? Will a lion roar in the forest when it has no prey ? Will a young lion growl from its lair when it has caught nothing ? Will a bird fall into a trap on the ground when there is no snare for it ?"
"Does a trap spring up from the ground when it has caught nothing ? If a horn is blown in a city, do the people not tremble ? If a calamity occurs in the city, is it not Jehovah (God's name, see Ex 6:3, KJV) who has acted ? For the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will not do a thing unless he has revealed his confidential matter to HIS servants the prophets."(Amos 3:3-7)
In other words, walking together, a lion roaring or growling, bird being caught in a trap, a horn being blown in an ancient city when being attacked by an enemy, does NOT happen by accident. Likewise also of Jehovah God, who reveals "to HIS servants the prophets" situations and future events, that something is about to occur (or even a long way off into the future), as he did in the Bible "book" of Amos, saying in 3:8-11:
"The lion (Jehovah, see Amos 1:2) has roared ! Who will not be afraid ? The Sovereign Lord Jehovah has spoken ! Who will not prophesy (or make it known, with word quickly getting around) ? Proclaim it on the fortified towers of Ashʹdod (of the Philistines) and on the fortified towers in the land of Egypt."
"Say: “Gather together against the mountains of Sa·marʹi·a; See the turmoil in her midst and the defrauding within her. For they do not know how to do what is right,” declares Jehovah, “Those who are storing up violence and destruction in their fortified towers.”’ Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says, ‘An adversary will surround the land, he will strip you of your strength, and your fortified towers will be plundered.’ "
So, Jehovah reveals "to HIS servants the prophets" what he is about to do with regard, not just to Samaria (or the northern ten tribe kingdom of Israel), but also to Syria (Amos 1:3-5), to the Philistines (Amos 1:6-8), to the city of Tyre (Amos 1:9, 10), to the Edomites (Amos 1:11, 12), to the Ammonites (Amos 1:13-15), as well as Moab (Amos 2:1-3), and of the two tribe kingdom of Judah (Amos 2:4, 5), by means of "an adversary", which proved to be Assyria and Babylon.(Jer 50:17)
Only Jehovah's servants are privy to what Jehovah has purposed, what his is doing, while Christendom "hasn't a clue", or "beats around the bush". For example, Jehovah revealed to Noah that he would bring an end to wicked mankind (Gen 6:1-7), several decades in advance, allowing Noah to build the ark that was some 437 feet long, almost 73 wide and almost 44 feet tall (Gen 6:13), whereby the Global Deluge then happened in 2370 B.C.E.
Or when Jehovah's angel revealed to Abraham that in about a year Sarah would give birth to Isaac (in 1918 B.C.E.), that "the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed great, and their sin is very heavy", that he was about to destroy them, but there was a catch, for Abraham's nephew Lot lived in Sodom, so that two angels were sent to tell Lot and his family to flee the city before it was destroyed.(Gen chpts 18 and 19)
Or the several dreams that King Nebuchadnezzar had and caused him great anxiety but could not remember, so that ONLY to Daniel, who was a loyal worshipper of Jehovah (see Dan 9:4; 10:11), were the dreams revealed to and their meaning and to NO one else.(Dan chpt 2)
At Matthew 11:25, 26, Jesus said in prayer to Jehovah: "I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intellectual ones and have revealed them to young children (or Jehovah's humble ones), see Matt 18:1-4). Yes, O Father, because this is the way you approved" of keeping everyone else "in the dark".
At Matthew 13:11-15, Jesus said: "To you (TRUE Christians) it is granted to understand the sacred secrets of the Kingdom of the heavens, but to them (such as Christendom) it is not granted. For whoever has (an accurate grasp of the Bible), more (accurate knowledge) will be given him, and he will be made to abound (in accurate knowledge of the Bible); but whoever does not have, even what he (or "imagines", Luke 8:18) has will be taken from him."
"That is why I speak to them by the use of illustrations; for looking, they look in VAIN, and hearing, they hear in VAIN, nor do they get the sense of it ("get the sense of it", Greek syniemi, meaning "to mentally put the pieces together")."
"And the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled in their case. It says (at Isa 6:9, 10): ‘You will indeed hear but by no means get the sense of it, and you will indeed look but by no means see. For the heart of this people has grown unreceptive, and with their ears they have heard without response, and they have shut their eyes, so that they might never see with their eyes and hear with their ears and get the sense of it with their hearts and turn back and I heal them.’ "
