  • Let’s take a close look at the structure of the heron’s head and neck. Understanding the anatomy will help you draw what you see. This demonstration will include graphite, watercolor, and gouache.

    I did a painting of a Pair of great blue herons. I see them when in Manitowoc Fisher Creek WI. Had to bee quick to get colors , light last what 7 seconds and changes. so quickly. I got the anatomy study from an old book. SO Glad you show the Anatomy. To me it helps those learning to PAINT the Heron, appreciate. NOT just copy from other Photographers photos. I did not know the part that give the heron that THRUST forward. what part .I knew about the anatomy THANKYOU

    BTW- never apologize for going overtime when you are gifting everyone with your hard earned skills and talents- people can always watch the rest later if they can't see it all at once.
