I knew from a young age that some people would have more than others because some people were more driven to achieve than others. Some people were gifted as musicians or athletes and would be able to earn a good living because of natural talents. With some, it was because they are gifted intellectually. I also knew that some people would go through life poor as a church mouse. Those were the ground rules and I decided to play within them.
The most damage to American capitalism has been done through geo-economics. As long as the United States was producing more, importing less than it exported, inventing more and not sending all of their jobs overseas, the capitalist system was working just fine. Let's just say, that there are a lot of countries trying to put sugar in the gas tank. I would worry more about that EU experiment that seems to be imploding over there before you are too concerned about us. How's that working out for you?

You are free to buy a BMW, SAAB, Mercedez, Toyota, etc. Nobody is forcing you to buy a Ford. I'm sick of threads like this. Not only is it a display of extreme intolerance but it's also a showcase for the ignorance of the thread starter. Show me where the constitution grants individual liberty to corporations. I posit that corporations as we know them would have been deemed unconstitutional when this nation was founded. What's the difference between a corporation and a government? At least you have a say in what your government does. At what point do those that support big business surrender their citizenship and pledge allegiance to the corporate states of America?
I bought a Ford automobile recently because during that whole government bailout of the auto industry a few years back they didn't take any money from the government. They are one of America's great companies and continued to do business in the same way that got them to where they are now. I am tired of all this "corporations are surrounded by lawyers so they can screw the general public" crap. Lawyers are hired or employed by corporations to also help protect proprietary advantages, assist in patents and trademarks, deal with frivolous lawsuits ( there are people out there looking to make a buck off of corporations through dastardly deeds you know.) Corporations are an entity, and these corporations put a lot of bread on the tables of many families. Corporations sometimes only have 5 employees as well as thousands of employees.

Prove it. Show me PROOF that FORD (or any other business) purposely goes out of its way to fuck over the consumer. I'm sure some do.. but they won't be in business long. For you to simply site FORD as an example is intellectual weakness on your part.

Corporations are not specifically addressed in the Constitution. But individuals become incorporators and individuals have a right to do so. Many key court decisions have come down over the years concerning the rights of corporations. That's good enough for me.

I don't care what any given thread starter believes. Some I agree with, and some I don't, but the whole trolling hate schtick is getting old. If a poster starts a thread just to bash one group or another that poster might think twice before hitting "submit". I don't make, "I hate _____________" threads and really don't have much regard for people that do.
